All Ministries adhere to the Mission Statement of the Parish

Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion
Persons age 16 and older appointed to assist the Priest in administering the Sacrament of Holy Communion in the Mass and also to those unable to attend Mass.
Lectors
Persons who are instituted to proclaim the readings from Sacred Scripture, with the exception of the Gospel and also announces the intentions for the Mass.
Servers
Persons grade 5 through adult age who assist the Priest during the Mass and other Liturgical Services.
Ushers
Person who assist with seating and collect the offerings during Mass.
Music Ministry
The Music Ministry provides music at the Mass and other events. St. Anthony's has an Adult Choir, Children's Choir and many Cantors.
Money Counters
Persons who count the Offertory collection at the weekend Masses.
Church Environment Ministers
Persons who care for the flowers and similar items in the Church according to the Liturgical Seasons.
Sacristan
Persons who take care of the Sacristy and sacred linens, vestments, candles and other items inside the Church.
Grounds and Landscaping Ministry
Persons who help care for the grounds and landscaping on the Church property.
Cemetery Ministry
Persons who care for the Parish Cemetery. Contact Dan Maag at 419-615-2148.
Christian Formation Program
A primary and God-given responsibility of you, the parent, is to provide for the spiritual formation of your child (children). We, the Church Community, will help you with this duty through this program (CCD) for the children in grades one through eight. This program provides instruction in the Catholic faith and prayer that includes prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, Stations of the Cross and preparation to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. The CCD Director, Maria Kaufman, 419-733-1063, and CCD Catechists instruct the children in the program.
Youth Ministry
Ignite, Fan into Flame for our high school students. This program goes through the school year. Contact Nathan Schroeder, 419-969-4894, with any questions.
Preschool Bible School
A Bible based activity program for the preschool children. This program is during the school year in the Church basement at 8 am, usually every other Sunday.
Vacation Bible School
This program is usually in June. It is part of the Growing with the Saints series and is for children age 4 through those going into 6th grade. The children will enjoy 5 days of exciting lessons, cool crafts, fun games, up-beat music, hands-on activities and delicious snacks while learning about Jesus.
That Man is You (TMIY)
A men's study and support group that addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the Saints to develop the vision of men fully alive!
She Shall be Called Women (SHE)
Women who are seeking to be truly seen, known and loved as they grow in their relationship with the Lord. Sessions with video presentations from inspirational speakers followed by small group discussion.
Order of Christian Initiation of Adults(OCIA)
This group is made up of individuals who are in the process of learning about Catholicism and those interested in becoming Catholic.
Bible Study Group
A Catholic Bible study that aims to bring a deeper personal relationship with Jesus Christ by offering personal study and small group discussion that link our everyday challenges and struggles with the solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Roman Catholic Church. The Bible and Catechism of the Catholic Church provide the references to the book used for each study.
Finance Committee
Members who track the financial state of the Parish and manage the Parish budget. Major Parish projects are discussed and recommended by the committee. Also addressed are maintenance issues and anything that requires the use of Parish Resources for the good of the Parish and all its Financial Interests, Investments and the Daily operation of The Parish, School, Cemetery and any other Parish holdings.
Parish Pastoral Council
A consultative body of the parish who shares the responsibility with the pastor for the pastoral life of the parish. The Council is a representative body composed of six members, each serving three year terms, that are reviewed every three years for continued service or asking to be replaced by a new member. Anyone interested in becoming a member can contact the Parish Office with your interest.
Festival Committee
Members of this committee manage and direct the annual parish festival.
Altar Rosary Society
"Our purpose is to foster reverence for the Blessed Sacrament, to promote love for and practice of the Rosary, to encourage regular and frequent reception of the sacraments and to promote social fellowship among the ladies of the parish." Each adult lady of the parish is automatically a member of the society. Some activities of service are: leading the Rosary, providing funeral luncheons, graduate breakfast, bake sales to donate financially to help the church and school.
Catholic Ladies of Columbia
Founded in 1928- "Faith, Hope, Charity and Friendship" The Catholic Ladies of Columbia (CLC) is a parish ministry of women. Members build life-long friendships, enjoy social activities, enrich their spiritual life and serve their parishes through CLC's system of Councils. The CLC is committed to serving and caring for each other and our neighbors. We perform volunteer work and give donations to our local Church, school, families, nursing homes and other projects. We start each meeting by praying the Rosary.
Knights of Columbus (K of C, Council 9788)
An international men's organization that is charitable service to God and all of His people locally and beyond. The four core principles are Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. Usually they meet on the first Tuesday of the month.
St. Anthony School
Parents choose Catholic Education for the children at St. Anthony Grade School for these and other great reasons: Values, Faith, Service, Excellent Academics, Technology, a Nurturing & Safe Environment. Our school collaborates with parents in their mission to instruct and pass on the faith.
Parent Guild
The Parent Guild is a group of parishioners who work to assist the school staff in various ways including supporting special school projects.
School Advisory Council
The School Advisory Council is made of ten members who study and make recommendations concerning various issues at the school.
